Choosing the Perfect Poker Chips

Poker is a very intense game. Everyone is in it for the win and everyone seems to be playing the game not because everyone is doing it but because the game in itself is very entertaining. There are a lot of venues where you can play your favourite poker game. You can choose to play it online as there are a lot of people who does so because of its convenience, and you can also choose to play it "physically" by going to casinos and poker clubs. No matter where you play the game, one thing is for certain, you will surely enjoy every round of poker.

The game of poker requires every player to use chips. These are exchanged for actual monetary systems before the start of the game. Chips would allow you to bet during the game and to make a raise. No poker game is complete without poker ships.

Poker chips were first introduced into the actual poker game in the mid 1800s. The first few pieces of these chips were created from bones, paper or wood and by the year 1880, with the advent of the industrial revolution, poker chips were then created en masse to respond to the growing needs of the market. Poker chips during these times were created of clay-composite that also contains design and engraving on it which creates a distinction between actual poker chips from the player's chips. However, the advances in technology has allowed for the creation of poker chips made from various designs like:

1. Plastic. Plastics are probably the cheapest material used in the creation of tray and they are the ones who are often available in a wide range of color. They are not as sturdy as the other chips made from a different material. They are more lightweight than other designs which make them very handy and portable.

2. Diamond. Obviously, this type is the most expensive chips available. Since they have been made by serious jewelry makers, their entire design is simply elegant. Diamond cufflinks are very pleasing to the eyes and they can be also customized by having your own name engraved on the side or the face of the poker chip.

3. Clay Composite. This type is made using an injection mold process. Companies who manufacture these types of poker chips have the capacity to display full graphics on them, which cannot be done on diamond and plastic cufflinks.

4. Casino Grade clay. This type is made from molded and compressed clay. How poker chips of this sort are manufactured still remains to be one of the industry's most kept secret. These type of chips are not too slick, and because of their content, they are very hard to carry.

5. VC Injected Plastic and Metal Slug Material. This is another composite poker chip chid but you would notice what the smaller unit has been disposed of. This is probably the cheapest poker set.
